I want to start this review with the honest part, because it is the part nobody says out loud.
For most of my locked life I treated the prostate as a rumour. Something other sissies talked about, a pleasure I assumed was either exaggerated or reserved for people whose bodies worked differently from mine. What I Expected Before I Started
I expected an ordeal. I had tried one cheap prostate toy years ago, a rigid thing that would not stay where it was put, and I had decided the whole category was a chore that demanded more management than it gave back. I expected the Edge 2 to be a slightly nicer version of that chore. I expected to test it politely for a week, write a lukewarm verdict, and quietly retire it to the drawer.
What I did not expect was that within three weeks it would become the centre of how Bee keeps me on a locked evening. Not occasionally. As a matter of routine. That is the highest thing I can say about any toy, and the Edge 2 earned it faster than anything else we own except the cage itself.
Out of the Box
The Edge 2 arrives in the heavy white box with the magnetic clasp that Lovense uses across the line. Inside : the Edge 2 in deep slate silicone, a magnetic charging cable, a satin storage pouch, a quick-start card, and a Lovense Remote app pairing code.
The first thing you notice is the neck. The Edge 2 has a hinged, adjustable neck between the insertable arm and the external arm, and you can bend it to an angle and it will hold that angle. This is the design choice the whole toy is built around, and it is the answer to the problem that ruined my first prostate toy years ago : every body sits at a slightly different angle inside, and a rigid toy fights that, while the Edge 2 bends to meet it.
It carries two motors, not one. There is a motor in the tip of the insertable arm, positioned to sit against the prostate, and a second motor in the external arm that rests against the perineum from outside. The silicone is body-safe, soft with the slightly tacky finish Lovense uses across the line, and the whole device is IPX7 waterproof with a magnetic charging port near the base. Nothing about the unboxing is intimidating. It looks less like a gadget than like something designed to be lived with, which it is.
The First Solo Session
Bee insisted I learn it alone before we used it together, the same way she made me learn the cage and the wearable before her. I understood why about ten minutes in.
The Edge 2 has a learning curve, and the curve is the angle. The first time, I rushed, used too little lubricant, and could not find the position where the tip actually met the gland. It felt like a toy doing a vague job somewhere in the vicinity of the point. Then I did what I should have done first : plenty of lubricant, no rush, and patient experimenting with the bend of the neck until the tip pressed exactly where the feeling lived. The App

What is specific to the Edge 2 is the two-motor structure. The app gives Bee a separate slider for the prostate motor and the perineum motor, so she can drive them independently or together. In practice she has settled into something exact : a low steady pressure on the perineum as a floor, and the prostate motor moving up and down on top of it, building and easing on a rhythm only she knows. I never know which of the two she is about to change. From my side it is one sensation with a moving centre. From her side it is two dials and all the time in the world.
A note on hygiene before I go further. The Edge 2 is IPX7 waterproof, so full immersion is fine. Wash it with mild unscented soap and warm water after every session, and dry it thoroughly before it goes away. Same protocol as any body-safe silicone toy, and the same logic as our chastity hygiene : trapped moisture is the enemy. The magnetic charging port is the only spot that needs care, a soft cloth and a few minutes of air before charging. Standard, nothing exotic.
The Scenes : How We Actually Use It
A toy is only as good as the evenings it earns a place in. The Edge 2 has found three, and each taught me something different.

A note on the price. At $99 the Edge 2 sits at the top of the prostate massager category.
