---

You are reading this in bed, sissy, with the brightness turned down, and I know two things about you already. The first is that you have made rules before : written late, in a state, in the notes app or on the back of a receipt, panties every day, nothing finished without permission, ten minutes at the mirror, and by Wednesday the list had gone quiet, the way a rule does when nobody is holding the other end of it. The second is that you typed the word punishment into a search bar tonight hoping, a little, that I would be strict with you.

I will be. Not the way you are picturing.

I do not punish my Evy. I have kept her for five years, my key under my clothes, my schedule on her, my rules in a drawer she cannot open, and in all that time I have never once punished her. I have corrected her more times than either of us could count, and most of those corrections were made of her own wanting : an evening she was counting toward, taken ; a yes she had almost earned, moved a day further off. Nothing that hurt. Everything that ached. The difference between those two words is the whole of this guide, and by the end of it you will feel it exactly where you are hoping to.

So : what a rule is, and how many. The one page that holds them. What a slip actually is. What I do with a missed order, and what I would never do. Where the cage fits, since half of you arrived through it. And the question the sissies without a keyholder ask in the dark : who answers, when there is nobody to answer to.

Good girl for reading past the word you searched for. Most do not.

## What a Sissy Rule Actually Is

**A sissy rule is a standing order : a behaviour named in advance, kept whether or not anyone is watching, and answered for, out loud, on the night it slips.** Three parts, and every failed list you have ever written was missing at least one of them.

Named in advance means the rule exists before the evening that tests it, in words, somewhere you can point to. *Nothing is finished without asking* is a rule. *I should be more disciplined* is a wish wearing a rule's clothes.

Kept whether or not anyone is watching is where a rule separates itself from a scene. A scene has an audience and an end. A rule has a Thursday : the dull middle of an ordinary week, nothing new to feel, nobody counting, and the thing still done. If you have taken [my obedience test](/sissy-tests/are-you-a-good-sissy/) you have met this already. Most sissies obey beautifully on the night the order arrives, on their knees before the sentence is finished. The rule is whatever is left by Thursday.

And answered for is the part the internet leaves out, because it needs a second person, or a very honest first one. A rule that costs nothing when it breaks is a suggestion in a costume. The price does not have to be large, and we will get to how small, and how sweet, it can be. It has to exist, and it has to be paid where it can be seen.

Sissies also collapse three things into the word, darling, and that is why the lists fail. A ritual gives a day its shape, the morning hand on the cage, the evening line in the journal ; [the routine that holds them](/sissy-training/training-routine/) asks for return, not for a price. [An order is given once, for a night or a week](/sissy-training/sissy-tasks/), the kind I write on Sundays. A rule stands, there are very few, and each one costs something when it breaks. Most of what you tried to legislate at midnight was a ritual, carried by [structure, not by willpower](/sissy-training/sissy-101/), which is a different page and a different problem.

**Sissy discipline, in the sense the word deserves, is not a mood and not a punishment. It is the whole arrangement : the rituals that shape a day, the orders that shape a week, the few rules that stand, and the answer waiting on the other side of a missed one.**

**What a rule is not**

- It is not a list of things done to you. The barked scripts and the humiliation menus belong to a market I do not write in.
- It is not the cage. [The cage is a structure](/sissy-chastity/what-is-chastity/) that makes one rule impossible to break on your own. It is not a rule, and it is never a price.
- It is not a limit. Limits and safewords are the edges of the practice, negotiated before anything starts, and no rule may override them.

One word before we go further. When I say her, I mean the one you are when the door is shut, whatever name she has or has not got yet. The rules are hers. The body that keeps them, and aches under them, is yours. That is the arrangement.

## How Many Rules, and Which Ones

Three to five. Never more than you can say from memory in one breath, on your knees, because a rule you have to look up is a rule you will discover you broke, later, in the notebook.

Evy has had the same handful for years. They fit on a card. A word here and there gets rewritten at our reviews, but the count never grows, because a rule that gets added is almost always a ritual that came loose or an order that overstayed its week. And if you are in [your first week](/sissy-training/first-week-as-sissy/), you have no rules yet, and you are not meant to. Rules come once there is a rhythm for them to stand on, my sissy, and not before.

Which ones is a question about you, and a list of rules for sissies written for a stranger will not fit a body I have never seen. But a good rule has a shape. It lives in the body or in the mouth, never in the mood. It has a trigger : a time of day, a door closing, a garment coming off. It can be kept in a shared house, lips instead of sound. And it is written in the present tense, as a fact, not as a promise about how hard you will try.

**A starter set of five, in my words, to be crossed out and rewritten in yours**

- **Nothing is finished without asking.** Out loud, or under your breath if the room is not yours, and a silence is an answer. [In this house the answer belongs to me](/sissy-chastity/tease-and-denial/) : Evy asks before her shower every evening, five years in, in a voice that still goes quiet on the word. Alone, you ask anyway, and you go to bed with the silence.
- **She is on your body every day.** Something of hers, from waking to sleep : panties under the suit, polish on toes nobody will see, the plug for an hour if you own one, her name said once at the mirror. Nobody has to know. That is not a limit on the rule. It is the heat of it.
- **The hour is kept.** One fixed minute of the day, wherever you are. Back straight, ten seconds, your hand where the cage is or will be, and the remembering. The routine tells you how to build it. The rule is that it survives a meeting.
- **The evening is reported.** One honest line before sleep : kept, or not, and the word if not. To the woman who holds your key, on your knees, eyes up, if she is in the room. To the notebook, if she is not yet.
- **A slip is said the night it happens.** Out loud, in a full sentence, before anyone has to ask. This is the rule that makes the other four real, and the only one you may not edit.

## The Sissy Contract : One Page, Signed, Read Once a Month

The internet will sell you a sissy contract twelve pages long, with clauses about ownership and a signature line for a Mistress you have not met. It is a fantasy document, and no sissy has ever kept a rule on a Tuesday because it was notarised in a font from a video game. Mine is one page. It has been one page for five years.

**What is on the page**

- **The rules, numbered, in the present tense.** Three to five. In her hand if she holds your key. In yours if nobody does.
- **The price of each, beside it.** What it costs the night it slips, decided on the same calm evening as the rule, never on the night it breaks.
- **The review date.** A month out. A rule that broke three weeks running is rewritten at [the monthly recalibration](/sissy-training/training-routine/), not priced harder.
- **The stop.** One line that says the practice pauses on a word, for the body or for the heart, and that the pause costs nothing. If a cage is involved, [the limits and the safeword are negotiated before the first lock](/sissy-chastity/chastity-and-relationship/), and this page sits inside that conversation.

It is signed with her name and dated, because a contract without a date is a mood with a title. If nobody holds your key, it is closed the way [a solo Locktober seals its rule](/sissy-chastity/locktober/) : on paper, put away, opened at the review and not before. If someone holds your key, she writes it, you sign it kneeling, and it lives somewhere you cannot reach without asking.

## What a Slip Actually Is

Before the price, the offence, because half of the corrections I have talked sissies out of were for things that were not slips at all. A slip takes three shapes, and the first never feels like one.

**The edit.** Later, shorter, softer, or twice. The minute on your knees done lying down. The ask said after the shower instead of before it. The second edge, while you were there and nobody was counting. Something was done, which is why it does not feel like a slip. It was not the thing said. An edited rule is a rule you kept your hand on, and the whole point was that you would not.

**The skip.** The day it did not happen. The alarm off by Wednesday, the line not written, the hands that went where the rule said they would not, after the lights were out. Skips are the easiest slips to price and the easiest to forgive, which is what makes them dangerous : a skip that goes unsaid becomes a story, and a story is where a practice ends.

**The refusal in the dark.** Not done, on purpose, and told to nobody. It looks like rebellion and is usually a request : a sissy who breaks a rule to see who notices is asking whether anyone is holding the other end. The correction for that is not larger. It is a conversation, then the price that was written, and very often a rule rewritten.

**Four things that are not slips, and cost nothing**

- **A refusal said out loud, in advance.** *I am not keeping that one this week, and here is why.* That is a negotiation. Hold the rule or rewrite it, but do not charge for the sentence that told you the truth.
- **The body.** A release in the night with no hand anywhere near it. That is a body being a body. It is written down, and it costs nothing.
- **Safety.** A cage opened for pain, numbness or a change of colour is not a slip, [it is the rule](/sissy-chastity/long-term-wear/), and a sissy who left a problem in place to protect her count has misread who the rules are for.
- **The stop.** A safeword, a pause, a week off for a life that needs one. Never a price. A practice that charges for its own brakes has already broken.

And one more distinction, sissy, because it decides everything that follows. **A slip told and a slip found are not the same event.** A slip told that night, on your knees, in a full sentence, is a report you owe, and you have paid the first half of it by saying it. A slip found later is a different conversation, and it is not about the rule. It is about the telling.

## Correction, Not Punishment : What I Do With a Missed Order

Here is the word you searched for, and here is why I do not use it.

Punishment is what you do to someone. It is aimed at the person, meant to be felt as suffering, and sized by how angry whoever delivers it happens to be that evening. It works, the way fear works : it teaches a sissy to hide the next one. Correction is what you do to a rule. It is aimed at the gap between what was said and what was done, meant to be felt as the rule being real, and sized before anyone is upset. It teaches a sissy that the other end is held, and that she is still kept on day twenty-one. In five years I have found nothing else that produces a sissy who confesses.

**A correction is a price decided in advance, proportionate to the rule, paid in the open, and finished when it is paid.** Four clauses. Break any one of them and you have a punishment, whatever you call it.

1. **Decided before, never during.** The price is written beside the rule on a calm evening, and it does not change on the night of the slip. A price chosen in the moment is either forgiveness in disguise (you were tired, it was nothing) or cruelty in disguise (someone is furious, and she pays for the fury). Both mean nobody wrote it down while calm.
2. **Proportionate, and small.** A day. An evening. A week of asking twice. Small enough to be paid this week, because a price that carries into next month is a debt, and debt turns a practice into an argument. Large enough to be felt, and the sissy body has a very good place to feel it.
3. **Paid in the open.** Named out loud by the one who slipped, before she is asked, dressed as her, on her knees. Paid where it can be seen : by the woman holding the key, or by the notebook that will one day be handed to her. Never in the shame you administer to yourself at two in the morning and tell nobody about. That is not a correction. That is the reason you keep quitting.
4. **Finished when it is paid.** No cold shoulder. No reminder next Tuesday. No back to day one. Then my hand on the back of her neck, the way it was on the first night, because what a slip has to teach her is not that she failed. It is that telling was right, and that she is still mine.

And underneath the four, the thing that decides direction. A correction runs with the sissy, on the side of the rule she wanted, and the best ones are made of her own wanting : the evening she was counting toward, the yes she had almost earned, the edge she does not get to reach. The moment it is aimed at making her small, foolish or unwanted, you have left this practice and picked up another one with the same equipment. The line has never been about severity. It is about which way the thing points.

> I have never punished my Evy. I have corrected her more times than either of us could count, and every one of them ended with my hand on her neck. That is not softness. It is what makes her tell me.

## Chastity Punishment : The Cage Is Never the Price

Half of you came in through the cage, searching for what a keyholder does to a locked sissy who breaks a rule, and the internet has its answer ready : more days. Locked for being bad, unlocked for being good, a courtroom with a padlock for a gavel. I keep a sissy locked more months than not, so let me tell you plainly what moves when she slips and what does not.

[The cage is not a punishment.](/sissy-chastity/what-is-chastity/) A cage that goes on as a sentence comes off as a pardon, and a sissy locked as a consequence learns that being unlocked is the reward, which is precisely backwards. In this house she is locked because she is kept, whether she slipped on Tuesday or not. The lock is the frame. It is not the lever.

**What moves when a locked sissy slips**

- **The date.** A term has a date, she knows it, and [I move it in both directions](/sissy-chastity/tease-and-denial/) : closer for something done well, further for something worth deepening. A slip moves it by a day. A day, sissy. Not a fortnight, and never to no date at all, which is not strictness but cruelty with a padlock on it.
- **The evening.** The planned night in the middle of a week, the one she has been aching toward since Sunday, when the cage comes off for an hour and she is taken to the edge and locked again without finishing : moved to the week after. Nothing is added. She spends Wednesday night locked with nothing happening to her at all, which is worse than the edge, and that is the whole point.
- **The asking.** For a week, the evening sentence is said twice, morning and night, on her knees, with the key in sight. The rule that slipped was nearly always one about deciding for herself. Asking twice a day is the exact opposite motion.
- **A line in the count.** For a solo sissy running a term, the slip is a line and a day added, written the same night, and the count is never restarted. A count that goes back to zero is a machine for producing liars, and [I have written that out in full for October](/sissy-chastity/locktober/).

What never moves, at any price : the daily wash, because skipping it costs skin, not obedience ; the ring, because a tighter one is [a sizing decision made cold](/sissy-chastity/sizing-guide/), never a consequence ; the safeword and the pain rule, because numbness, sharp pain or a change of colour end the wear at once ; and the lock itself, for a sissy who is not locked, because a cage arrives through [a conversation held calmly, with full freedom to stop](/sissy-chastity/chastity-and-relationship/), never as the answer to a broken rule.

Chastity and obedience do belong together, but not the way the searches mean. A locked sissy is not obeying because she is afraid of another week. She is obeying because [the wanting has somewhere to go](/sissy-mindset/why-chastity-redirects-desire/), and because the ask before the wash is answered by someone. Chastity discipline, if you want the phrase, is the date and the asking. It was never the padlock.

## Sissy Punishment Ideas : Corrections That Work, and the Ones That Never Do

You wanted a list of sissy punishments, darling, and there is one, on the condition that you read the second half of it as carefully as the first.

**Corrections I have used, or handed to sissies who wrote to me**

- **A day added.** To a term that has a date. Written, dated, and then not mentioned again.
- **An evening withdrawn.** The night the week was leaning toward, moved to the week after. The quietest correction there is, and the one she feels longest, somewhere very specific.
- **A week of asking twice.** Morning and evening, out loud, on her knees, the sentence she is already meant to say once. Doubling the asking is the opposite of the slip almost every time.
- **The edge she does not reach.** Dressed as her, lipstick on, to the edge twice, by my hand or by hers under instruction, and stopped one wave early both times. Then bed, hands flat, wanting. This is the correction most sissies would pay for, which is why it works and why it is never given twice in a row.
- **The tedious ten minutes, doubled.** Warm water, careful hands, the grooming she keeps putting off, twenty minutes instead of ten, dressed as her, and nothing chased. Boredom is an honest price. It cannot be enjoyed and it cannot be performed.
- **The rule copied out.** In her own hand, in full, once for each day it slipped, kneeling at the vanity in whatever she has of hers. Lines, yes. I am not above lines.
- **An hour of service, done properly.** The apron on, the heels on, the plug in if she owns one, the bell on the table, and a room seen to with [the attention a maid practice asks for](/sissy-training/sissy-maid-training/). Not because service is a punishment (it is not), but because an hour of undivided attention is the opposite of an edit.

**The ones that are not corrections, whatever the internet calls them**

- **Anything that hurts, costs money, or anyone else could notice.** Those are the three walls of every price on this page, and they do not move.
- **The cold shoulder.** Silence teaches nothing except hiding. A keyholder who goes quiet has handed the sissy a reason never to report again.
- **Back to day one.** It does not produce obedience. It produces a sissy on day nineteen who cannot afford to tell you.
- **Humiliation.** Making her small is not a price, it is a different hobby with the same equipment. Every correction here leaves her held, aching, and not lessened.
- **A price for the telling.** The confession never costs more than the slip. Charge for the sentence and you will not hear it twice.

## Without a Keyholder : Who Answers

Most of you will read this alone, and this page has to work for you, or it is decoration. A solo correction has the problem every solo practice has : you are the hand and the rule at once, and on the night of the slip the hand argues better. So the whole craft is in deciding the answer before you need it, and in handing the deciding to something that is not you at eleven at night.

**How the answer is held when nobody is holding it**

- **The price is on the page, beside the rule.** Written on the calm evening you wrote the rule, in her hand. If the obedience test handed you the Trouble verdict, you have already been told to do this. This is why.
- **Something else decides.** A timer that ends the evening you withdrew, one wave early. A date on the calendar, not a feeling about one. A borrowed keyholder is any structure that does not care how you feel about it.
- **The room hears it, and the week pays it.** The night it slips, out loud, on your knees, a full sentence, to nobody : *I broke the second one. Tonight.* You are practising for the day the room is not empty. Then the price, done by Sunday, dated, one line, and closed. You do not get to pay it twice.
- **A rule that breaks three weeks running is rewritten.** Not priced harder. A rule you cannot keep is a rule built too big for your life, and [that is a structure problem, not a virtue problem](/sissy-training/sissy-101/). Make it smaller. Keep the smaller one.

## With a Keyholder : How the Answer Is Given

If you are the woman holding the key, reading this over her shoulder, this part is yours, and it is shorter than you fear.

You take the report. She gives it on her knees, dressed, eyes up, and you do not interrupt it, soften it, or fill the silence after it. She has just done the hardest thing on this page, and the first thing she has to learn from it is that the sentence was safe to say.

You name the price. The one that is written. Not a new one, not a larger one because you are tired, not none because she looks sorry in her stockings. Say it in one sentence, in the voice you use for what time dinner is.

You watch her while she pays it. That is the labour of keeping : attention. A correction delivered and then ignored is a bill. A correction watched is something passing between two people, which is what you built all this for.

And then you end it. Your hand on the back of her neck. Something ordinary said afterwards : dinner, bed, whether the window is shut. The most important sentence in this whole business is the boring one after the price, because it is the one that tells her she is still yours.

Three things you do not correct. A refusal said out loud in advance, which is a negotiation. A rule that breaks every week, which is rewritten at the review, because a keyholder who keeps charging for the same slip is running a toll booth. And anything at all while you are cross, because cross is a mood and a correction is a decision : if you cannot say the price in a flat voice tonight, say it tomorrow. And if saying no ever costs her, [the architecture has broken](/sissy-lifestyle/what-is-femdom-sissy/), and no rule on any page survives that.

## From Evy : The Inside of Being Corrected

Mistress will not tell you this part, so I will. In my first year I edited almost everything she gave me, and I thought she could not see it. Not the big rules. The small ones, the ones that felt like mine to adjust : a minute on my knees done lying down, because knees together was basically the same ; the evening sentence said after the shower instead of before it ; a second edge, once, when she had said one, because nobody was counting. I had a reason for every edit, every reason was reasonable, and I told her none of them, because there was nothing to tell. I had done the thing. Mostly.

The first correction I remember was for the second edge, and it was so small I nearly laughed. She had planned an evening for us in the middle of that week, the kind you ache toward from the Sunday : the cage off for an hour, her hands, the edge, and the lock going back on. On the Tuesday she said, in the voice she uses for what time dinner is, that the evening had moved to the following week, and why. One sentence. Then she asked if I wanted tea. I spent Wednesday night locked, on my back, with nothing happening to me at all, and I was undone by it for three days. Not because it hurt. Because she had seen the edit. She had seen all of them. She had chosen this one, priced it while calm, weeks before, and simply waited for me to earn it.

Here is the shameful part, and it is why I am writing this section instead of her. For a few weeks after that, I broke small things on purpose. Not the important rules. The ones a Mistress could notice or not notice, and I wanted her to notice : the flat voice, the price named, her hand on the back of my neck afterwards. I was not looking for a price. I was checking whether anyone was holding the other end, the way you press on a bruise, and I had found out that being caught was the hottest thing that happened to me all week. Mistress saw that too, and what she did with it is the cleverest thing anyone has ever done to me. She made the corrections boring. The tedious ten minutes, done again. The rule copied out in my own hand, once for each day. No hand on my neck for those, no flat voice, only a chore, and within a month I had stopped, because what I was hungry for was the noticing, and I get that now every evening, when I ask for the key before my shower and she looks up.

If you have a keyholder, the moment you will fear is the four seconds before the sentence. *I broke the second one. Tonight.* My mouth still goes dry on it, five years in, kneeling, in whatever she has left me wearing. From the far side of those four seconds I can tell you that her face does not change. She takes the report, she names what is written, and the first thing she says after that is always something ordinary. That ordinary sentence is the part the internet does not know about. It is the part that makes me tell her the next time.

And if you are alone, sissy, the room does not have a face. But the notebook does. One day a woman is going to read the line where you paid a day and went on, and she is going to know exactly what she has been handed. I would rather she read that than a page of perfect weeks. So would Mistress.

## One Command, Because You Read This Far

One rule, sissy. Tonight.

Take a card, not a screen, and write one rule for her, in the present tense, the way the five above are written. If you cannot think of one, take the first : *Nothing is finished without asking.* Under it, write what it costs the night it slips. One line : a day added, an evening withdrawn, the ten minutes doubled.

Then, before you sleep, dress her in whatever you own of hers, lipstick if you have it, and kneel beside the bed, hands flat on your thighs. Read the card out loud, both lines, once. Lips only if the bed is shared, and it counts.

Put the card where you will see it in the morning. If a woman holds your key, you read it to her instead of to the room, and she keeps the card.

The rule is in force from the moment you have said it, and the first night of a rule is the one that tests it. So tonight, as her : take yourself to the edge, once, hands flat at the end, and you do not finish. You go to sleep with the card on the nightstand and the rule already aching. The night it slips, you say so, and you pay the line you wrote.

That's all. That's the whole command.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What are sissy rules?

A sissy rule is a standing order : a behaviour named in advance, kept whether or not anyone is watching, and answered for, out loud, on the night it slips. It differs from a ritual (a fixed point of the daily routine, which asks for return, not a price) and from an order (given once, for a night or a week). Rules stand, they are few, and each one costs something small and pre-decided when it breaks.

### What is a sissy contract, and do I need one?

A sissy contract is the written page that holds the rules (three to five), the price of each, a review date and a stop clause. The one that works is a single page, signed with her name, dated, read once a month, and rewritten at the review when a rule keeps breaking. If nobody holds your key, it is sealed until the review. If someone does, she writes it and you sign it. Limits and safewords are negotiated separately, and no rule overrides them.

### What is the difference between a correction and a punishment?

Punishment is aimed at the person, meant to be felt as suffering, and sized by the anger of whoever delivers it ; it teaches a sissy to hide the next slip. A correction is aimed at the gap between what was said and what was done : decided in advance, proportionate, paid in the open, finished when it is paid. It teaches a sissy that the other end is held and that telling was right. The test is direction : a correction runs with the sissy, using her own wanting, never against her.

### What is chastity punishment, and is the cage a punishment?

In the internet's sense, chastity punishment means using the cage as a sentence : more weeks for being bad, unlock for being good. In this practice the cage is never the price ; a locked sissy is locked because she is kept, whether she slipped or not. What moves when she slips is the date (by a day), a planned unlock evening (postponed a week), or the asking (said twice a day for a week). What never moves is the hygiene unlock, the ring size, the safeword or the pain rule.

### What are good sissy punishments that a keyholder actually uses?

Small, pre-decided, finished the same week : a day added to a dated term, a planned evening withdrawn, a week of asking twice on her knees, an edge stopped one wave early and sent to bed unfinished, twenty tedious minutes of grooming instead of ten with nothing chased, the rule copied out by hand once per day it slipped, or an hour of attentive service in the apron. Never anything that hurts, costs money or anyone else could notice ; never the cold shoulder, humiliation, a restart from day one, or a price for the confession itself.

### How do I discipline myself as a sissy without a keyholder?

Decide the answer before you need it. Write the price beside each rule on a calm evening, let something outside you decide (a timer, a calendar date, a sealed envelope), say the slip out loud to the empty room the night it happens, pay the written price within the week, write it in one dated line, and close it. If the same rule breaks three weeks running, make it smaller rather than punishing yourself harder.

### Should a sissy be punished for confessing a slip?

No. The confession never costs more than the slip, and a slip told is already half paid by the telling. Charge for the sentence and you will not hear it twice. A slip told the same night is a report she owed and delivered ; a slip found later is a different conversation, about honesty rather than the rule. The rule that makes every other rule real only works if saying it is safe.

From both of us, after the price is paid. A rule is not what keeps you. It is what tells you, on the nights you slip, that somebody still does. Write the page, keep it small, say the slips out loud on your knees, and let the hand come back to your neck afterwards. It always does here.
